Whatsapp Available for free on App Store

by Costea Lestoc on July 27, 2012

Whatsapp is without a doubt, the most popular instant messaging solution in the mobile community. In fact, it is being used by thousands if not millions of people worldwide. This is because the application works seemlessly with the address book of the devices and there is no need to add a separate section for the user’s contact unlike many other instant messaging solution.

However, this application isn’t available for free because it cost a modest amount of only $0.99 but even then, there might not be a lot of people that are willing to fork money over the application. That is why for what we assume as a limited time only promotion, the developer is dropping the $0.99 charge of the iOS variant of Whatsapp making it free for a limited time only.

The good thing about Whatsapp is that it works with so many other mobile operating system on which includes Symbian, iOS, BlackBerry, Windows Phone 7 and Android. Suffice to say that almost all smartphones have the possibility of getting Whatsapp. Once installed, you can save a lot of money on what used to be text messages. Those that are interested on getting Whatsapp should definitely download from the App Store as soon as possible.
