Okay, let’s get started to hack Tiny Zoo bucks and coins. This is basically for Windows, but if you are using Mac, you need to adjust the guide yourself.
- Download Paros from http://www.parosproxy.org/download.shtml and install Paros to your PC.
- Find the the wifi IP address of your PC where the iPhone, or iPod touch and PC connected to.
- Start Command Prompt (Press Windows + R on keyboard or click Start → Accessories → Command Prompt) and type ipconfig in command prompt window.
- Get the IPv4 Address of Wireless Network Connection. Example of my Wifi IP Address on PC:
Yours may show different number.
- Open Paros from start menu.
If you face an error when launching Paros, start Paros from its installed directory
C:\Program Files (x86)\Paros (on Windows 64-bit) or C:\Program Files\Paros (on Windows 32-bit) by double click the paros.jar file. - Click Tools → Options → Local Proxy
Address: The Wifi IP Address of your PC (in my configuration it will be 192.168.1.1)
Port: 8080
- Before clicking OK to save changes, click Trap menu.
- Seelct the Inclusive Filter checkbox and paste http://tinyzoo.tinyco.com/tapservice/api/ to the field below it.
- Once done, click OK to save all changes.
- Click Trap tab, and select the Trap response option (on the bottom) to activate it.
- Keep the Paros window opens.
- Now set your iPhone wifi setting to use the PC with Paros installed and configured as the HTTP Proxy.
Tap the Blue Arrow on the next wi-fi name.
- Scroll down to set up HTTP proxy. It will be off by default unless you ever have configured HTTP proxy before.
Tap Manual and put your Wifi IP Address as Server and 8080 as port.
- Launch Tiny Zoo app on iPhone and keep watching the Paros window.
- When you see a response on Paros trap window like this, click Continue.

- After clicking the Continue button on Paros, you may see more text responses with alot of Tiny Zoo variables.
- Click on the response text in the lower field and press Ctrl + F (or click Edit → Find) and type CoinsEarned. This is your Zoo coins and the number next to CoinsEarned is your current zoo coins.
Change the number to amount you wanted (DON’T BE GREEDY). My current coins is 7769. I will add more 70,000 coins so I will change the CoinsEarned value to 77769.
- Click on the response text again and press Ctrl + F (or click Edit → Find) and type PremiumEarned. This is your Zoo bucks and the number next to PremiumEarned is your current zoo money.
Change the number to amount you wanted (DON’T BE GREEDY). My current bucks is 206. I will add more 2,000 bucks so I will change the PremiumEarned value to 2206.
- Once you have done making changes, unselect the Trap response option (on the bottom) to deactivate it then click Continue. (be sure to uncheck the trap response before click continue, I often forgot to uncheck that option)
You may explore other Tiny Zoo variables to be hacked like XP, etc.
Tiny Zoo game should be started as soon as possible and you will have bucks and coins as configured on Paros.
Yes, you are successfully hack Tiny Zoo bucks and coins. In case the bucks or coins doesn’t updated, try to close Tiny zoo from multitasking bar and repeat the step above once again.
If the Tiny Zoo closed or crash after you make changes, there must be something wrong with your configuration.

For Mac Users…
1. Get your Mac's IP address by opening System Preferences > Network. If your Mac is connected to your router with a cable, select "Ethernet", you'll see your computer's IP address. For Wireless connections, select Airport > Advanced… button > TCP/IP tab. You'll see IPv4 Address: <your computer's IP Address>. You can highlight with mouse and Command-C to copy the address.
2. Download the Unix version of Paros and double-click the paros.jar file to run. Follow the rest of the instructions above ;-)

Koning you need to make sure you have java installed too, read the information on paros website as to what you need.
Also, remember to put your proxy settings back to "off" when you switch your pc off as it disconnects you from the paros proxy and you cannot load your zoo :0)
Have you reset your proxy settings on your iphone as once you close your pc you lose the use of Paros as a proxy and cannot connect to the internet?

Carl, I had no idea about hacking either, but just followed the instructions above to the letter and it worked…..you may need to install java to make Paros work, check the instructions on the Paros website too. I have managed to use the same principle on TinyChef too, although that one doesn't retain your bucks when you restart the game, it does retains the things you've "purchased" with them tho! Good luck ;0)

Yeah, you can do it on your iPad. Soddinhell, try turning your device all the way off, then on, then repeating the steps.
Now I have another question. I am able to change the amount, but it's never the amount I typed in. So now I accidentally have 800 000 000 coins…and I don't know what to do with them! I just wanted 10 000 000 so I could expand. I also have about 6000 zoo bucks, because that gave me a different amount than what I put in, too.

Sorry to be a bother annonymoose, but I am still having the same problem. I'm ashamed to say I have practically all but admitted defeat with this. I have the latest version of Paros, and checked that it 'is' latest version.
I have totally switched off, then re-booted it more than once, still no difference.
All I can do is highlight the amount I want to change. I am in the Response WIndow when I try it. I've even gone into the request window and gone through ALL the links in bottom left window to see if I can get it from there, then repeated with the Response lower window.
Do I have the settings correct do you think? As all I have done in Paros is follwed to the letter the instruction to type in the tiny zoo url. It is frustrating as it is letting me highlight stuff, with premiumearned, but I CANNOT get a flashing cursor ANYWHERE within that large body of text (its the text that tells you what animals you have, etc…)
I'm probably very stupid. Can I ask just which windows in Paros you are in please when you can change the amounts? I have tried and tried in Response WIndow, and tried to change it in Lower Response Window (if that makes sense?) Sorry for rambling, just trying to be thorough.

You have to edit it under TRAP tab not RESPONSE tab.
To get right response, disable the inclusive filter mentioned on the begining (tools-options-trap, inclusive filter)
What is also great to cheat on is the breeding time, so you don't need to spend bucks on the instant breeding. You just have to scroll totally down, the you will find something like: {"$className":"HabitatActivity","status":0,"statusCounter":13561.219794486649}
The status counter is the time you need to finish breeding. Now just put in, it should looks like this:{"$className":"HabitatActivity","status":0,"statusCounter":1}
When you get in the game, your breeding, crossbreeding or expansion should be complete
i don't know but i think it is also possible to do expansions directly in the paros, it is written by {"$className":"ZooExpansion","expansionId":"15"} or something…
Adding a next line named this:{"$className":"ZooExpansion","expansionId":"16"} was unsuccesfull ;(
But you can do it also with your bucks :D
And: you can change the animals also, so you can get xxx coins from an animal, cause u can change the time until next spend of coins and xp from 222233124.123 to 1 :D

If I download this and then plug my ipad2 into iTunes to download other things will it wipe out previous games I’ve bought. I’ve got a friend who hacked his iPad and downloads games for ‘free’ but if he plugs it into iTunes on his computer it wipes everything out again and he has to download everything again. 1, You can't have the application open more than once, If your unsure the application is still open in Windows (Sometimes it remains open and failed even though the windows are closed) Go into Task Manager and terminate any JAVA.EXE programs.
2, This program will only work using 32 BIT Java. If you have a 64 Bit OS and are running this with 64 Bit Java it WILL NOT WORK! Download a copy of 32 Bit Java, install and run the app using that.

Hi, hack worked great when used as advised. Just make sure to untick trap response after changing coins/bucks. However, I upgraded to Tiny Zoo 1.3 and can't get it to work now. Has anyone else managed since upgrading or was this upgrade to prevent this hack?

Hey, I'm trying to hack my ipad app but after change the amounts on Paros and uncheck the trap response box and hit continue and turn off my proxy and stuff, it just goes back to being unchanged and regular. What am I not doing right?

i have a problem, after setting the tools options and checking the trap response, i try to open tiny zoo (using the proxy) but it only loads and doesn't open. i tried to change the coins and bucks anyway and when i uncheck the trap response and click continue, TZ stops loading and says that there's a problem with the connection. i really don't understand why because i followed the instructions very carefully and checked it lots of times. can anyone explain me why that happens?

They're using jailbroken idevices so that they can access files that you normally can't even see, like save data for games. Basically, all those programs they talk about (such as Installous) are used to alter the files on an idevice without using iTunes or other normal methods. They jailbreak the device, copy their save data on the zoo to their pc, then install (using Installous) an old version of Tiny Zoo that has been hacked so that it won't require you to update to play. Basically, for those of us who aren't jailbroken, we're still sunk.
all they are doing is what i said to do earlier. u need version 1.2.2, and it does not make u upgrade like some one said earlier all u need to do is click cancel. if the last time u updated your phone was when u had ver1.2.2 and u havent emptied your recycle bin you still have it and all you got to do is delete your zoo(your animals are safe its not saved on your phone) restore the app from the bin and install that app on ur phone. if u dont have that file then u got to go blizzards route.

You don’t have to jailbreak ur phone if the old version is in ur recycle bin. Just google how to restore and older version of an app most of u can figure it out.

I can't seem to get it to work, I can get as far as finding the Coinsearned but the figure is not the right one and when i change it anyway the game crashes or I get the "Opps Error…" . Any idea how I can fix this error?
I can't do it! I got through opening tiny zoo, but then it gives me an error message and nothing pops up on Paro. It probablly was because I used my IP address not my IP4v address. I couldn't use the IPv4 address because my computer wouldn't give me one. Any way that I could fix that?
Also, I followed the directions exactly as written (except for the whole IP address ordeal)

From what I've read, this hack can't be done with version 1.3. If anyone can get this hack to work with 1.3 please post here!
Oh and version 1.4 just came out.
i've been doing some research and i may have thought of a POSSIBLE ( but untried) method:
1) Download the original version of the game: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=KKED71OL
2) Swap your version of tiny zoo for the original version. There are instructions out on the web on how to downgrade the version of an app. You do not need to jailbreak your device to do this step.
3) Do the hack as listed above.
The main reason why nobody can get the hack to work now is because everyone is running version 1.3 or newer and in these patches, the company has already covered up the hack loophole. So the only way is to come up with a new hack or to downgrade your game. i'm currently not at home so i'm not sure if this will work. Someone please try this out and see if this is possible. Thanks!

Alright, I had one tiny problem. I did everything correct edited and all, but whenever I go to the app while connected it wont load. When I dissconect frm proxy it loads, but my money is still low..

Please someone figure out the hack for v1.3. I just discovered this and followed all the instructions only to discover that it doesn't work with the latest version, which I only upgraded to recently… If only I had done this a couple of weeks ago. Normally I frown on this kind of thing, but it is not as bad as TinyCo's behaviour when it comes to the absurd prices they charge for a few pixels on a screen. I've already spent over $100 on their blatant rip-off "zoo bucks", which is $95 more than it was worth, so I figure I'm justified in getting everything else for free!
i follow all the direction but when i click continue after editing the amount of "Coinsearned" and "Premiumearned," i get an "OOPS! WE'RE EXPERIENCING DIFFICULTIES LOADING YOUR GAME. PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER."
i dont know what i am doing wrong.
p.s. when i launch TZ after setting my the HTTP proxy on my iphone. TZ never fully loads. it remains on the Loading screen. when i unselect TRAP RESPONSE and click CONTINUE, thats when i get the aforementioned error message. plz help

that doesn't work. Tiny Zoo will not, it will advise you have to upgrade. To my knowledge there is no usable hack at the moment for Tiny Zoo. Check "http://xsellize.com/topic/134410-tiny-zoo/page__st__200__gopid__641515#entry641515".It has a better history of everything that is going on.

Mosesvii is right. i just download a spare tiny zoo game to the 1.2.2 version and the game doesn't allow you to load it till you've upgraded to the latest version. The link that he pointed out has a hack for the 1.3 version but you need to jail break your device first.
Okay I put in the numbers and follow every step EXACTLY but when I load my game it's never there! Nothing changes at all no matter what I do or how many times I try. Any advice?
I think TinyZoo have got wise to this hack now, unfortunately: as I have tried this hack today (using Fidler, as Paros refused to load correctly) and every time I change any value TinyZoo tells me that it failed to load my account and to try again later!
If anyone can try and resolve this issue, I would appreciate it if you could respond to this comment before 09/09/2011 please.

i wonder if it is possible to downgrade the version to 1.2, use the paros hack, and then update it back to 1.4. Wonder if that will work?
As far as I am aware, downgrading is not possible. It may be if your iDevice is jail broken – though I can not say for sure myself, but seeing as the only way to get apps is through iTunes, unless the vendors of the application release every update as a new app, which Tiny Co, Inc. does not – there is no way to access previous versions unfortunately! Good thought though.
I was also thinking about this hack myself, and whilst the concept is good I'm not sure that it would ever work properly. At the most, it would only last for one session (unless you intercepted the response each time). However, I can see things getting very complicated because TinyCo have now implemented variables such as "coinsSpent", as well as checksums so that TinyZoo will be able to easily calculate whether the data it is receiving is valid… Correct me if I am wrong.

Does absolutely no one read these days? For instance, if you read only my comment and reply to Kite and GrendelsBane you will see the answer in a nutshell. But the answer "No, tiny zoo has made this hack impossible!" is blatantly obvious when you just open your eyes a little bit!
I think, for those who can't think for themselves the author of this tutorial needs to update it!

Downgrading is possible on a not jail Broken device I have stated this before on here so it looks like u Andy don’t read. But u need to have had synced to your own computer when the last one came out one came out. And not emptied ur recycle box. Then u still have then old version in ur recycle box. And that old version is stillregistered to you. Other than that learn how use Installous. Also when it asks u to upgrade just hit cancel. It doesn’t force u to upgrade if u hit cancel it just opens the zoo. That too has already been said.

There's also a new app called Tiny Zoo Friends.
I downgrade to the 1.2.1 version (with time machine on mac). The app start then try to load the zoo but ask to upgrade to the new version. So no way actualy…

the TinyZoo developers are probably onto this little trick and have set up codes to block the cheat. I hope it was good for those of you who got it to work.
Yeah, it's pointless trying now. If you really want to get free bucks, I'd suggest that no one buy anything with bucks, and Tiny Co might get worried about profits and reduce the price of animals, or make them payable with coins.

Hey, I just tried all this, but it didn't work. When I looked at the history, there were some 404 forbidden's next to some of the requests in paros. Does this mean TZ got wise to this hack? Is there any other way around it? Thank you very much for your help!

So I go through the whole process. Change the numbers. Then return my ipad proxy to off. And when I open tiny zoo, the bucks have not changed. When I tried it again, tiny zoo would just not load if the the proxy is on manual settings. It just stays on the loading screen. I can still change the numbers in Paros, but when I hit continue, Tiny Zoo crashes and says error loading… Any idea?
I see in the screen shots that you used tiny zoo 1.1. I think I am at 1.4. Does it make a difference? i tried deleting and re-installing tiny zoo. No change…

It's not working anymore, they implement some MD5 fingerprint to ensure that nobody change the content. There is some way to create and rewrite this figerprint, but its for somebody more advance.
