How To Make And Delete iPhone Calendars

by Costea Lestoc on April 17, 2013

The built-in iOS application, Calendar, is the best place where we can keep track of all events scheduling to not miss any of them. The interesting part is that it doesn’t forces us to keep everything in one calendar. If you prefer to separate your personal life, with the one at work, or have a separate calendar with children activity or one for vacations, or whatever, with the Calendar, you can add as many calendars you want for what you want. Each calendar can assign a color to visually distinguish downstream activities depending on their type, you can hide or display each calendar separately and add events to any calendar you want, depending on its type and purpose. In short: the iPhone, iPad or iPod touch is your best way that you can follow to stay organized.

Additional calendars are easy to add and set up, and if you ever think that you do not need them, they are as easy to erase.

How to create calendars on iPhone and iPad

  • Open the Calendar application from the home screen of your iOS device.
  • Click the Calendar button located on the left side of the screen.

How to delete calendars on iPhone and iPad

Before deleting a calendar, you should know that all events and appointments will be deleted. If you want to keep the calendar, but not to be displayed on your iOS device, then click on its name in the list of calendars to deselect it.
