Apple spends increasingly more money on research and development, I talking here about a good example of the results obtained by the Company from these investments. Today Apple has published an application that is trying to patent a technology that allows us to quickly find the location where we parked our car. The company’s technology is ideal for parking inside the mall or any other facilities that are built in buildings, the discovery is done using Bluetooth technology.
iPhone 5S will have a better camera, we almost certainly know this, but any source of information not yet revealed details on what this camera will do better. It is rumored that iPhone 5s would have a 12 megapixel camera, 4 megapixels higher than the one from iPhone 5, but many of you probably already know that the Megapixel number is not that important. Importantly is the image sensor and how the camera it’s built, and so far we didn’t seen if with iPhone 5S we take much better pictures than any other iPhone released so far.
Apple recently launched an application for a patent to control how the phone falls down. More specifically, the Cupertino Company wants to change its iPhone position in the air and land with a chosen area on the floor. The reason is simple: protect an expensive device with a relatively fragile construction. Users tend to keep their gadgets very much and this is evident when we look at market protection covers. Often a Smartphone does not look so good in the case. May become thicker and bigger in the pocket.
The cheaper iPhone will be released later this year by Apple, and the device would have the same 4-inch screen like the iPhone 5 terminal, but also a slim plastic and fiberglass. Housing of the new device would be between 0.4 and 0.6 mm thick, about half the normal carcasses that are between 0.7 and 1 mm thick. The use of plastic combined with fiberglass should do more resistant, but probably will be scratched easier.
Rumors concerning the launch of a low-cost iPhone have intensified in recent months, the device is expected to be launched later this year. So far nobody knows anything about it, besides the fact that it would have a plastic cover, but today we learn that it could use a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC. Apple would be interested to use the SoC’s from Qualcomm that is produced using 28nm fabrication process, but just a cheap iPhone, other iPhones will have implemented chips from the A series.
iPhones and iPad tablets are already on the first place among the largest terminals that generate web traffic in their categories, but now, global (iPhone and iPod Touch’s) ranked 1 and overall. Apple surpassed Nokia in terms of internet traffic, and now about 26% of all traffic comes from mobile terminals to terminals of Apple. Nokia and Samsung are ranked on positions 2 and 3, those from Samsung overcomes Nokia, but now are back to Apple, although they have a much wider range of handsets available on the market.
