iPhones and iPad tablets are already on the first place among the largest terminals that generate web traffic in their categories, but now, global (iPhone and iPod Touch’s) ranked 1 and overall. Apple surpassed Nokia in terms of internet traffic, and now about 26% of all traffic comes from mobile terminals to terminals of Apple. Nokia and Samsung are ranked on positions 2 and 3, those from Samsung overcomes Nokia, but now are back to Apple, although they have a much wider range of handsets available on the market.

Even if it is too good on innovation and if they lost what it was gained in recent years, Apple remains the undisputed leader in the tablet market. While the iPad remains a brand name with resonance in the ears of the buyers, the increase announced last year is below the market average, showing a huge discrepancy from Samsung – the rival that already dominates the smartphone market.

As we already entered the year 2013 the news from Apple are not so good. Value of its shares is declined in recent days reaching $509 in value trading session held after the closing of the U.S. stock market. Though the figure is small during the day value of shares fell to $508.12, and at the moment there are no signs to suggest that the price might increase in the near future. At this rate Apple action will cost less than $500 by the end of January, the price can be the same or lower than one year ago.
At this drop several factors, including economic and political context in the U.S. and the success of Apple products help much to stabilize the situation. Perhaps things will improve in the spring when the expected launch of new products, but in the meantime it’s unlikely that Apple’s share price was $600 as value.

It isn’t every day that Apple and Google work together. However, when it comes to patents, especially the one that is being hold by Kodak is at stake, the two companies temporarily forgets its rivalry between one another. This is because both Google and Apple are jointly offering more than $500 million for Kodak’s 1,100 imaging patents.

Yesterday Apple stock value fell by over 6%, the highest depreciation recorded by the company in the last four years. Over 30 billion dollars disappeared from the market capitalization value, 37 million shares were exchanged for stock and finally nobody knows for sure what caused this decline. Whether it’s the alleged case of iPhone 5S, be it a possible failure of negotiations to reduce U.S. tax purposes, be it on Android tablets that steal market share from the iPad, the end result is the same.

Two and half years ago when it launched the iPad product, Apple has succeeded where Microsoft failed ten years earlier and took the lead detached on the tablet market. If on the phone market, Android has acquired supremacy since June 2010 and have never been caught, Apple dominated the tablet market. This position seems that it will not last very long either.
Figures released by ABI Research should not be new, IDC offering similar statistics almost a month. According to new data, the iPad product sales represented 55 percent of the total number of tablets sold in the third quarter of this year, a figure not far from the 50.4 percent of IDC statistics. Meanwhile, rival Android has gained a market share of 44 percent, the remaining percentage is divided by Windows tablets and BlackBerry OS. This decrease of 16 percent compared to performance in the previous quarter and is not the main event, but adjusting forecasts for the future development of the Apple market share.
Until now, the analysis gave similar predictions, saying that Android will overtake Apple finally as happened in the mobile phone market, but will be a slow ascent. Switching operating system Google top seller of tablets could arrive much faster on the 2015 – 2016 period, previously held by analysts, according to Finvista Advisors, can take place even in the middle of next year.
Android’s success is attributed to affordable tablets like Amazon Kindle Fire and Google Nexus 7 and the increasing success of more expensive tablets from Samsung, ABI Research also saying that iPad Mini does not seem to have the desired impact of Apple. What will happen, and what will be possible and the impact of new Windows RT models can be seen in the next six months.
