During this evening Apple released iTunes 11.0.3, a new version of which iTunes Store can be accessed and through it you can manage multimedia content. The new version brings a new MiniPlayer application for listening to favorite songs, it displays the album artwork and the running tracks progress. Apple also improves the menus in which we see the available tracks from iTunes and implemented support for multi-disc albums.

Despite the fact that Sharp puts hopes in Samsung to save it from bankruptcy, Retina displays for the iPhone 5S is expected to enter production in the Asian company next month. The information comes from the people at Reuters, who in recent days have spoken about the problems that Sharp encounters, and about the management steps the company takes to save it from bankruptcy. Sharp stopped production in January for the 9.7 inch screens for the iPad, but Apple still needs Retina Displays for iPhones, so they are keeping Sharp as a partner.
In January, Sharp had to curtail production of 9.7-inch iPad screens, hurting output levels and threatening its recovery in profitability. The Japanese company is preparing to begin large-scale production next month of screens for Apple’s next iPhone model, the sources said.

Either they do not work at all or they read only some presses, or become hard to press, the issue is disturbing and needs to be solved somehow. If your iOS device does no longer is under warranty and you cannot call a service to change the broken button, then a solution would be to use the AssistiveTouch function. This is one of accessibility features that iOS has to offer and is useful both for people with vision problems and for cases where the physical buttons do not work. AssistiveTouch function provides a Home and a Power button, which can substitute on the hardware. Even if this is not the ideal solution in some cases is the best.

Last week we told you that the iPhone 5S and cheap iPhone launch risk being delayed due to production problems, and today we find exactly the same thing from another source. An American Apple analyst partner visited the factories and learned that because of the problems to start the mass production of iPhone 5S, a cheaper iPhone and the iPhone 6 would have to force them decide to postpone the scheduled launch this summer. iPhone 5S is not yet in production due to these problems, the cheaper iPhone is in the same situation, and iPhone 6 will hit the market next year, but this was already known by everyone.

Apple and Yahoo are two of the largest U.S. companies, but their interaction was limited until recently because a new partnership in the future could be concluded between them. Apple is looking to reduce its dependence on Google’s search engine, and is looking to use the system from Yahoo to potentiate the Siri functionality and improve its search methods. Unfortunately no other details are available about this possible partnership, but Yahoo already provides information for Stocks and Weather applications, and sports information displayed by Siri are coming from the exact same company.
