Basically if you have an iPhone 3GS/4/4S/5 an iPad 2/3/4/Mini or iPod Touch, you have iOS 5.0 – iOS 6.1.2 and have already jailbroken your terminal, then you could do a partial re-restore only on the version that you have in your terminal without using SHSH. iPhones that doesn’t have jailbreak cannot use SemiRestore, doesn’t matter what version of iOS have, and if your terminal is not included in the aforementioned boundaries, then the solution will not work under any circumstances, so do not bother to ask.

iH8sn0w released the beta 6 version of sn0wbreeze 2.8, software that allows us to make a custom ipsw jailbroken for iOS 5. Sn0wbreeze 2.8 keep baseband intact during the update so if you have the iPhone that needs to unlock, with Gevey 3G or ultrasn0w you can rest assured but I have not tested ultrasn0w on iOS 5 so I cannot tell if it works or not.
This version of the program is not compatible with iPad 2 so do not try to use it with your iPad 2. Sn0wbreeze 2.8 beta 6 is available for everyone even if you do not have your UDID registered and iH8sn0w included the option to disable the expiry date of these beta versions of iOS 5.

redsn0w 0.9.6rc16 released by iPhone Dev-Team today. Download redsn0w 0.9.6rc16 for Windows to jailbreak iOS 4.3.3. redsn0w 0.9.6rc16 supports hacktivation and untethered jailbreak.

redsn0w 0.9.6rc16 is an untethered jailbreak tool for iOS 4.3.3.
So, if you want to jailbreak iOS 4.3.3, you can use redsn0w 0.9.6 rc16. redsn0w 0.9.6rc16 available for Windows and OS X (Mac). Or, if you already jailbreak iOS 4.3.3 on your device, but you are experiencing side switch vibration issue, you can re-jailbreak using redsn0w 0.9.6 rc16, but uncheck the Install Cydia option on redsn0w.

If you’re already jailbroken at 4.3.3 (by either redsn0w or custom IPSW), you can install this fix simply by running redsn0w rc16 over your existing jailbreak. Just uncheck the “Install Cydia” option and check any other options you want. The fix will be installed no matter what you’ve selected. This is safe for even ultrasn0w unlockers to do (because redsn0w itself won’t update your baseband…only an iTunes stock IPSW update/restore will do that).
Windows 7 and Vista users should no longer need to set their CPU affinity…just run redsn0w as Administrator in XP compatiblity mode.
Use redsn0w 0.9.6rc16 to jailbreak these devices:
