Any smartphone made by a smart manufacturer automatically closes the screen when we are talking on the phone and have our ear close to the device, but iPhones have often had problems with this system. To solve the problem there is now a tweak called DimInCall, it closes the screen automatically when a call is initiated/accepted. The screen can be re-opened by pressing the Home/Lock button, but if we want we can set the closing/opening to be made by means of physical buttons and not automatically.

iPhone 5s Launch Risk Being Delayed

Last week we told you that the iPhone 5S and cheap iPhone launch risk being delayed due to production problems, and today we find exactly the same thing from another source. An American Apple analyst partner visited the factories and learned that because of the problems to start the mass production of iPhone 5S, a cheaper iPhone and the iPhone 6 would have to force them decide to postpone the scheduled launch this summer. iPhone 5S is not yet in production due to these problems, the cheaper iPhone is in the same situation, and iPhone 6 will hit the market next year, but this was already known by everyone.

Apple and Yahoo are two of the largest U.S. companies, but their interaction was limited until recently because a new partnership in the future could be concluded between them. Apple is looking to reduce its dependence on Google’s search engine, and is looking to use the system from Yahoo to potentiate the Siri functionality and improve its search methods. Unfortunately no other details are available about this possible partnership, but Yahoo already provides information for Stocks and Weather applications, and sports information displayed by Siri are coming from the exact same company.

When you look at media streaming websites such as Hulu or HBO Go, you can see that its mobile version might not have features as complete as the ones present in the original website. However, that doesn’t mean that the people behind the mobile version are not working hard to make the mobile version on par with the web. As such, 3 media streaming services which are Hulu Plus, HBO GO and Max Go have decided to update their iOS application with a new yet awaited feature which is closed captioning.
