For months now it is rumored that Apple is preparing to launch a cheaper iPhone that would be available at a price of not exceeding $250 in the U.S. Since the terminal might interest many users today we find from Digitimes that the cheaper iPhone would have a 4 inch screen, A6 chip, plastic case that it should be presented at WWDC 2013 and released shortly after the event. Apple should prepare an initial stock of 2.5 – 3 million units to test the market, and if demand is high, production would increase.

During this evening Apple released iOS 6.1.4 only for the iPhone 5 terminal, the new version of the operating system bringing a new profile for the device speakers. iOS 6.1.4 is not available for other devices and outside the new profile does not seem to bring other changes, its size is of only 11.5 MB in OTA version. Apple said it will release iOS 6.1.4 to implement some changes in VPN system, but seems to be limited only to a minor update.
To install iOS 6.1.4 on your iPhone you can access either the Settings menu>General>Software Update to perform OTA Update directly from the terminal, if you do not jailbreak, you can download the ipsw file using the link below and you can use it in iTunes to perform a restore. [click to continue…]

Google announced yesterday that the Google Now assistant, one of the most exciting software products launched by the company on the Android platform is now available on the iOS platform in the Google Search application, compatible with both iPhones mobile phones but also tablets.
Google Now gives iOS users using different Google accounts the possibility to use the famous bulletin boards for weather, traffic and other data. Of the 29 panels present in the Android version, 22 have made their way in the iOS version, depriving those who had information on flight tickets or local events. iPhone 2G is the popular name of the first model of the iPhone, a terminal which was released in 2007 by Apple. 6 years later, the people at Apple have decided that the terminal is obsolete and should be removed from use, so they refused to order the shop to repair the device, citing the lack of components as a reason.

Jony Ive for months the team leader that develops iOS 7 codenamed Innsbruck, and it seems that he has ordered a radical change in the operating system design. Several people, who had the opportunity to use iOS 7 or received information about it, say that the new design resembles to the Metro interface of Windows Phone and we talk about a “flat” design. iOS 7 will eliminate some of the “brilliance” of the current design and will remove the interface elements that resemble to real-world objects, changes affecting how everything works.
