Now, you can unlock any iPhone with 05.13.04 baseband by using ultrasn0w 0.93.
If you have a factory unlock (FU) iPhone, you do NOT need to read this guide, because your iPhone has unlocked already 
You need to jailbreak your iPhone before you can unlock it. Read any of these tutorial to jailbreak your iPhone.
The baseband version of iOS4 is 05.13.04. Now, you can unlock 05.13.04 baseband by using ultrasn0w 0.93. Check your baseband version and make sure the baseband version is 05.13.04 before you continue reading this guide.
Here are steps how to unlock your iPhone:
Add repository to cydia: repo666.ultrasn0w.com and then install ultrasn0w 0.93. Wait for few minutes, then you will have an unlocked iPhone.

“Failed to jailbreak (error code: c0000005)“, this error message will appear if you’re running Spirit jailbreak on Windows 7 or Windows Vista. To fix this problem, right click on Spirit.exe, choose Properties. Click Compatibility tab, click the checkbox “Run this program in compatibility mode for:“, and choose “Windows 98 / Windows Me“, then click OK.
Now, you can re-run Spirit.exe and jailbreak iPhone 3.1.3 firmware/ 3.1.2 firmware. It should be running smoothly now.
