Nightclub Story – An awesome game idea by TeamLava

by Costea Lestoc on May 10, 2011

Do you like the idea of managing¬† a nightclub, but don‚Äôt like to¬† deal with any dancing , extremely loud music, and the idea of¬† dealing with loads intoxicated patrons ? Well, you can¬† get your¬† own night club manager on in your own house¬†¬† or wherever you are with the application Nightclub Story from TeamLava. This game is¬† the latest entry in their ,,Story” series of games and it has you in charge of a nightclub‚Äôs business, giving you the possibility¬† to personalize the look of your own¬† club, make money to sell new beverages and buy newer and fancier decorations.

One of the most interesting feature from this game is that you can play  music from your own iTunes collection, so if you’ve  wanted to start a nightclub that plays your favorite genre of music , your dream has finally come true. As well, Nightclub Story brings with itthe  social networking features, which gives you the possibility  to exchange photos of your night club with other players, leave tips, and trade items with them.

The Legendary Wars game starts  with an entirely  fantasy story which shows a kingdom in chaos, and your main objective  is to collect Sunstone fragments in attempt to rid the world of evil. This fantasy story  takes you through involves fighting all sorts of different enemies on levels with varied objectives.

Legendary Wars gives you the opportunity to¬† control a single unit that play like a sidescroller, or battles where you’re given a very powerful hero unit which must survive in the battles, and more. The actual castle vs castle fights are great too, but¬† instead of simply sending an group of units to their doom, successfully surviving a battle requires a bit of strategy.

After you will win a¬† battle, you’ll be able to get back your units to¬† your armory where you can upgrade various statistics , as well as your castle itself.

The fighting units can be directly controlled directly , giving you the chance  to make them change lanes, engage an enemy, or retreat back to your castle. This controlling option  gives you the power to do a surprising amount of micromanagement in your battles .The enemy units  will change lanes too, so you have  to do some quick finger work to maintain  your army safe from the enemy arrows.

Magic Piano – A Great Application Created by Smule

by Costea Lestoc on May 10, 2011

Magic Piano by Smule is an iPhone application which gives you the opportunity to play  a digital piano . If you have ever shopped the app store for a piano app, you have noticed that there are dozens to choose from but this application is free, better and easier than the other ones . Magic Piano provides  unique features which makes it  unique amongst its competition.

Smule always does a great job at making music accessible and attainable for the masses. They simplified the digital instruments and makes  them sounding good and easy enough to master in a  very short time. They also give you the opportunity to go  live, global sharing which allows listen to someone else play a song live or broadcast one yourself.

Magic Piano has a interesting keyboard which sounds professional  and in the same time  bit wacky. Play freestyle by moving your finger up and down a black screen. As you play, the green dots and piano keyboard you are playing will light up. It’s a funny  game , but, if you are looking to produce a controlled performance, it is a challenge because the keys are very small.

Falling Fred – Watch out for those obstacles!

by Costea Lestoc on May 10, 2011

The application Falling Fred is definitely not for the ones with¬† feint of heart because the¬† blood is¬† spraying around regularly, but if you’re playing this game perfectly then¬† you’ll not see a drop until the moment before you fail. The perfectly tuned tilt controls¬† used to push and pull Fred around the screen , provides¬† quick overtaking¬† if you flick in a direction or gentle sliding around the screen if you tilt slowly. While there’s no specific rewards implicated for removing Fred’s limbs, removing them will make it easier for you¬† to see what’s coming towards you and it will also give you the opportunity to make perfect maneuvers.

The visuals are minimalistic, but it still  serve the game well because the  hazards are easier to identify. One of the most  impressive thing in this game is the way Fred feels as he rolls, flips, spins  around hazards perfectly depending on how many limbs he has left and whether or not his bones are broken . If you want to get on a harder stage , you will have to travel  a preset distance on the lower difficulties, ensuring that  all the players meet at least a basic skill level before moving on to a faster, deadlier level.
Falling Fred is a simple, amusing¬† addictive game that’s far more detailed than first impressions would assume so why don’t you try it right now.

Frisbee forever – a frisbee tossing game

by Costea Lestoc on May 10, 2011

One of the most exciting  outdoor summer games can now be played all season round and indoors and that will be the  new Frisbee Forever app made by Kiloo for Apple devices.

You maybe heard about¬† Kiloo before as they are not new to the app store because they already provided the apps Whac-a-Mole, Zenses Rainforest and more. Their new app is about¬† Frisbee tossing and it¬† can be done wherever you are , even if you are in the lounge, or in a car or even on a plane because you won’t be able to do¬† any¬† damage .

Frisbee Forever is a bit  similar with  Angry Birds when it comes to the fingertip sized Frisbee controls and also the graphics used this game use, though it isn’t as addictive apparently.

Anyway  if you  own  an iPad, iPod Touch or an iPhone ,then you may wish to give it a try for yourself. You can download for free !
