November 2 iPhone 5 Launch in Other Countries

Slowly, Apple is expanding the number of countries that is getting the iPhone 5. Earlier, there were rumors that India and Malaysia were expected to get their iPhone on October 26 but that did not happened. However, The Economic Times mentioned that the new date on which India will be getting the iPhone 5 is on November 2nd.

 

It also reported that the price for the 16GB entry-level iPhone 5 will be around Rs. 45,000 with the 32GB and 64GB at a price tag of Rs. 52,500 and Rs. 59,500 respectively. In addition to that, the company claimed that they had received the information from one of the two distribution partners that is Redington. It has yet to be known whether Malaysia and a few other countries will be getting the iPhone 5 on November 2nd or not.

As far as Apple is concerned, the company is expected to launch the iPhone 5 to at least 100 different countries and 240 mobile carriers by the end of the year. Countries that have already received the iPhone 5 include US, UK, Germany, France and a few other countries. MacRumors on the other hand stated that the November 2nd launch may include countries such as Bulgaria, Greece, Croatia, Malta, Mexico, Romania, Thailand and the Dominican Republic.

This is bullshit! I have to wait 4 weeks for my iPhone 5 because of the supply problems, but the rest of the world gets rolled out 11-2? I hope I don't change my mind before my phone gets here and buy a Galaxy or a Windows phone.
