iPhone 5 to be announced on 5th October, T-Mobile won’t be getting their hands on them.

All Things Digital had recently gave a statement saying that the iPhone 5 will be announced by no other than the new Chief Executive, Tim Cook on the 4th of October. The source on which the report came from was from a prominent person close to the development of the device itself.

The new iPhone is under high demand by the public and people are hoping for a lot from this new phone especially when now there are 3D phones such as the HTC EVO 3D in the market and a few others. In fact, the number of people wanting to replace their phone with the new iPhone 5 is 30% based on a recent survey.

T-Mobile CMO Cole Brodman on the other hand was reportedly saying that the carrier will not be getting their hands on the future iPhone anytime this year. This comes as shocking news to T-Mobile subscribers as they have been looking forward on getting an iPhone under the carrier. It may be possible that the carrier will lose some subscribers due to this sole reason. The merger with AT&T should work as soon as possible or the company will face some trouble of its own.
