I bet you are putting a check on both the cydia and baseband
dont do that
what you should do is first install cydia yada yada
and then next round uncheck cydia and then check baseband.. so two runs using redsn0w.. hope you understood.

doing the cydia install and ipad baseband separately worked like a charm.
