If you have found a book that you think would appeal to one of your friends, iBooks offers a simple way to send them a link to the book that they can use to buy it. Also, if you use iBooks to save PDFs, you can print them or send them to a friend by email in just a few steps:

How to distribute a book to a friend from the iBooks app:

- Open the iBooks app from the home screen of your iOS device;

- In the Library section, click on the book cover you want to distribute;

- Now click the Contents icon represented by three parallel lines at the top of the page (right next to the library);

- In the page that displays the contents of the book, click on the Share button from the top right of the screen;

- Choose how you want to distribute the book by clicking on the application icon. The options are E-mail, SMS/iMessage, Twitter, Facebook and copy link to attach it to another place;

- If you chose one of the first four options, then there will be a preview of your message. For your email and SMS/iMessage you will need to enter your address, or email/phone number. Tap the Send/Post button to send it.

How to print or send via email a PDF from the iBooks app:

- Open the iBooks app from the home screen of your iOS device;

- From the PDF collection click on the PDF cover that you want to send or print;

- At the top of the page, click on the Share button;

- Select E-mail or Print, depending on your preference;

- If you select E-mail, the PDF will be inserted directly into an email. Enter your email address and click Send to send the PDF.

How To Set Any MP3 Song As Ringtone On iPhone

One of the first things you want to customized on a new phone is its ringtone. Used with simple method on other phones, you may say that setting your favorite song for iPhone is a piece of cake.

Especially since the iPhone is presented as an easy to use phone. But if you’ve got to read this article, you already know that using its classical settings, you cannot set any MP3 song from your computer as a ringtone.

When I’ve bought the first iPhone I enjoyed it a lot, but when I wanted to change the ringtone I received a reply from a friend that I cannot do that.

Our curiosity and stubbornness push us to thoughts like “it must be possible”. So I looked, and I found not one but several ways to trick the phone.

Here’s one way I’ve found:

Step 1: Open iTunes and select the song you want to set as ringtone. Right click on it >> Get Info >> Options. Set the 40 seconds you want to have it as a ringtone in the Start and Stop Time fields. Doesn’t have to be from the beginning of the song. It may be, for example, only the chorus. Once you’ve decided, click OK.

Step 2: Select the new song. Right click >> Create AAC version. You see it has created a replica that is only 40 seconds.

Step 3: Select the song of 40 seconds, right click on it and select Show in Windows Explorer menu. This will open the folder where you saved the changed song.

Step 4: Delete from iTunes both songs. That does not mean that you will delete the songs from your computer, so you can tab OK on the alerts that appears then.

Step 5: In the folder that you opened with the new song of 40 sec. (Step 3), you will see that it has a .m4a extension. In this format, it cannot be a ringtone. All you have to do is to rename it and change from the .m4a to .m4r.

If you see only the name of the song, and not the extension, go to Control Panel >> Folder Options >> View tab >> uncheck Hide extensions from known files. Apply and OK.

Step 6: Double-click it and the new file will open in iTunes under Ringtones.

Now it only remains for you to synchronize your iPhone as usual and then choose from Settings >> Sounds of the phone, what ringtone your heart desires.

Ever since iOS 5 there is a very annoying problem affecting iPhone owners, mainly, but also other devices owners. Completely random you can wake up that your iPhone closes suddenly and certainly there is no logical explanation for this kind of “behavior” of your iPhone. Not the first time I talk about this issue but I have noticed that lately more and more users are experiencing it and I think it’s useful to bring back the issue to your attention.

The problem occurs both in those who made a jailbreak and didn’t jailbreak their phones so you can be affected no matter how you use your iPhone. Basically leaving the terminal on the table you will notice that it has closed one although you haven’t done anything and when you connect it to the computer you notice that it is recognized by iTunes. Well basically the device is in DFU Mode for one reason or another, and yet there is no logical explanation for this automatic insertion of our devices in DFU Mode.

If you do not have jailbreak the solution is very simple: press Home + Lock buttons simultaneously and hold them down until Apple appears on the screen. If you have jailbreak then connect the terminal to the computer and turn it tethered with iBooty or redsn0w and everything will return to normal. I hope this will help in the future because many people have encountered this problem.

Some Tips Everyone Needs to Know on the Facebook App

1. Cover Photo

You can change the cover photo going to your profile and taping on the “camera” located on the right – below the profile image. You have the option to make a new picture or select one of the existing ones from your phone.

2. Arrange the list of favorites

You can add “3-d party software” in your list of favorites which will be shown at the top of the screen. To edit the list, enter the menu by pressing the square button with three white lines and then scroll to the bottom. Select “Edit” and by pressing the “+” button you can add pages, applications, groups or lists.

3. Adding a friend at favorites

This will allow immediate access to his profile page. Proceed exactly as in section 2, and after pressing the “+” button select “Add friends”.

4. Deleting a post

This is not very intuitive in the mobile app, but it is very simple. To delete a post all you need to do is to make a horizontally move from left to right on the post. Their setting is a little different from alerts setting. Enter the “Settings” -> “Apps” -> “Facebook” -> “Push notifications”. You can choose what kind of notifications you want to display.

9. Synchronize contacts

This enables you to sync the address book with the individual profile picture from Facebook, so when a friend will call, his profile picture will appear on the screen. To synchronize, enter in the “Friends” menu of the Facebook application and press the top right button to get to “sync contacts”.

For those who are still in the beginning, there are many unknowns here, especially about the cracked applications. In the next tutorial I will teach you how to add sources in Cydia, thing that without it you cannot unlock the phone.

Step 1

Connect to a wireless or make sure that internet is working on your phone. If you don’t have a wireless near you and need to unlock, use this tutorial and will show you how to install ultrasn0w without internet.

Open the application and let it connect, then the app will close and need to be opened again.

Once you open the app, a message will appear about how you like the information to appear Cydia, choose the hacker mode.

You will be asked to do some updates, click complete upgrade and wait, after it is finished press the Close Cydia (Restart) button, and the application will be closed and will be reopened. The restart will be required only once or if you install new updates.

Step 2

Once the application has been reopened, you must click on the Manage button from the bottom.

Click on sources that will take you to a new menu.

Step 4

In this menu you can see all the sources from which you can download applications. To add a source, click on the Edit button located in the upper right side, then click the Add button on the same bar but from the left.

Step 5

Here you will be asked to enter the URL of the server from which you want to download applications. Put url in the box and press Add Source. Caution! For some sources, such as the guys from appulous you will see a warning message that will tell you that the source is illegal. If you still want to add press the Add button anyway.

After you have finished adding everything click the top left Done button to finish.
