Anyone that has an iPhone and does jailbreaking every now and then would have heard about Redsn0w. It is certainly one of the best jailbreaking utility for iPhone and every now and then, new version of it keeps on appearing and each for a different version of iOS. Most often than not, Redsn0w produces jailbreaking tool to upgrade the iOS but this is not the case this time.

Everyone that jailbreaks would certainly have the Redsn0w jailbreak tool as one of their favorites. This makes sense especially when to many people are using it to jailbreak their device. It is certainly one of the easiest and safest ways to do it as well. Anyway, the time for update has come and RedSn0w has added in another jailbreaking utility with its set of tools and this includes the Corona A5 jailbreak.

It has been a while since a court ruling has allowed mobile device users to root or to jailbreak their devices against the consent of the company behind the operating system. Even though this act has been legalize by the court, a lot of these companies claimed that by jailbreaking or rooting the devices, it would void the warranty as the original software has been tampered with. There are ways of getting it through undetected although it would be a hassle to do so as well.

Absinthe releases jailbreak support for Windows, Linux

Earlier on, Absinthe went on releasing an untethered jailbreak support application for two iOS devices which are the iPad 2 and the iPhone 4S for Mac OS X systems. However, support for both Windows and Linux was nonexistence for a while as the developers were still working on some kinks. That soon changed as the group had released Absinthe A5 for both Windows and Linux users two consecutive days after the Mac OS X application release.
