New features that is available on iOS 5.1

The new iOS 5.1 was released along with the new iPad launch. Like all updates, users will get a lot of the bugs fixed as well as some new features being introduced and the same goes to the iOS 5.1 too. There were a few new features that users might not notice but nevertheless, it is worth knowing especially with some of them being quite useful for a lot of people.

iPhone 5.1 beta OS provide reference to new iPhone/iPad

One thing is for certain: we now know the codename for Apple’s next iPhone and iPad which are iPhone 5,1 and iPad 2,4 and iPad 3,3. These are two iPads being talked about an a new version of the iPhone albeit those codenames are only used internally and in no way determined the name of the next devices. In addition to that, there is also a codename called J33 although it couldn’t be said as to which device it is being referenced to. However, there are rumors saying that J33 would be referring to the next Apple TV, said to be able to connect the TV to the Internet.

The iPhone 4S that comes with iOS 5 is certainly great but it does come with quite a major problem which is its iPhone 4S battery life. The problem was found to be from the iOS 5 itself but Apple responded by releasing a new version of the iOS 5 which is version 5.0.1.

The problem that clouds iPhone 4S users aren’t bad reception but poor battery life and Apple admits there is a flaw in their device, or rather in the software for that matter, which makes the device consumes a bit more battery than needed. The solution like what most people expected is a software upgrade and that is what Apple will give its users.
