This tutorial will guide you how to fix “Cannot connect to YouTube” issue.
“Cannot connect to YouTube” is one of common problems that will appear on jailbroken iPhone, and usually comes together with Push Notification and GPS issue. If your iPhone has not jailbroken yet, you can read How to Jailbreak iPhone 3.1 Firmware (Windows). This problem rarely happen to Factory Unlocked iPhone, and often happen to Hacktivated jailbroken iPhone.

This tutorial will guide you how to add a repo (repository).
Definition of repository: Repository Generically refers to a central place where data is stored and maintained. A repository can be a place where multiple databases or files are located for distribution over a network, or a repository can be a location that is directly accessible to the user without having to travel across a network.
Make sure your iPhone is connected to Internet and you have Cydia installed on iPhone.
1. Open Cydia app on iPhone.

2. From Cydia Home, choose Manage.

Cydia is a software application developed by Jay Freeman (also known as saurik) for the iPhone OS that allows the user to browse and download applications usable on a jailbroken iPhone or iPod Touch. Cydia usually packaged together with Jailbreak tools such as redsn0w, pwnage, JailbreakMe, blackra1n, or any other jailbreak tools. It’s very recommended to install Cydia into iPhone.
If you did jailbreak iPhone firmware 3.1.2 using blackra1n, you can install Cydia by opening blackra1n app on your iPhone, select Cydia, then install.

If you did jailbreak iPhone using another jailbreak tool, make sure you choose Cydia to be installed while jailbreaking.
Now, I assume that you have Cydia app already installed on iPhone. Make sure your iPhone is connected to Internet.
1. Open Cydia app on iPhone.

2. At the first time running Cydia, you will be asked “Who Are You” which will determine how Cydia app interface will be displayed on your iPhone. Tap “User (Graphical Only)” (recommended for common users).

3. Cydia will check for packages updates and ask you to update its database if any updates available. You can see the progress in the top says: “Downloading packages” which will download new packages index.
