The rumors about an iPad Mini has been around since last year but it is only now that the rumor has turned into something true. After months of speculation, Apple is finally sending out invites for a media event which will be held on October 23. The place on which the event will be held is the California Theatre in San Jose. It is expected to start at 10.00AM Pacific Time of 1.00PM Eastern Time.
The tagline for this event is “We’ve got a little more to show you”. While not releasing any information about this particular event, it is expected that Apple will be releasing a new tablet that will be competing with the likes of Google Nexus 7, Kindle Fire and many other smaller tablets that have taken the void at a non-existing Apple competition.
The iPad Mini as it is expected to be called will come with a 7.85-inch display and should be priced around $249 to $299. This makes it as competitive as the Nexus 7 which is currently being priced at only $199. In addition to that, new iMacs, a 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro and upgrades to the Mac Mini is expected to be released on this event too.
