Today, sherif hashim –iPhone hacker and developer tweeted an important information due to hacktivation iPhone using phone book (micro) sim card. For Your Information, phonebook card was used to trick Apple activation screen. If your iPhone displays Slide for emergency and connect to iTunes screen, it can be by-passed using this phonebook card. This trick was found by sherif hashim. But unfortunately, this trick now has been blocked by Apple, confirmed by sherif hashim via twitter:
Sometime today, apple has fixed the bug thru which Phonebook sim cards used to activate, they r of NO USE anymore, don’t depend on/buy them
Hence, the trick on this post: “Activate iPhone without AT&T (or any other Official SIM card)” is no longer working.
