Love streaming on youtube through via iPhone, iPod touch or even iPad?
Yeah, so do I. Love to stream my music videos, prank and humor videos, music concerts, tips trick and guide, etc. While Apple already has YouTube app on installed on iOS devices by default, the youtube app on iphone cannot save your favorites video. Even after playing a video and you want to replay the video, youtube app still load the video from Internet, not on cache. It is pretty bad for medium or low internet quality, even if you have high-speed, I still hate it to not caching the video stream.
But, don’t worry, you are not alone. All other iPhone users also hate this youtube due to its inability to save favorite youtube videos using default youtube app.
That’s why jailbreak exist, to bypass such limitation on iOS device (and other jailbreakable devices as well).
You can save youtube videos directly on iPhone and play the saved youtube video later without internet connection. Yes, playing favorite youtube videos offline on iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad and you don’t need to transfer the video from computer.
So, how do I save my videos from youtube to iPhone without computer?
First of all, you must have a jailbroken device. Yes, jailbreak iOS device is an opportunity.
Install any of these Cydia tweaks and apps to download youtube video on iPhone, iPod, or iPad then you can download youtube videos directly on iPhone with these apps.
aTube Video Downloader (click to see more details)
Search the video, tap on the video, then you will see two options what to do with the video: Watch and Download
aTube available on BigBoss repository, you don’t need to add the repository manually because it has already been available on Cydia by default. Also, aTube video downloader is free apps.
MxTube (click to see more details)
MxTube is the first native YouTube video downloader. The original version of MiTube, which was available on AppStore ages ago. Download your youtube videos and watch them later. MxTube works on all devices 3.x and 4x. The current MxTube version is v2.0b-1 which added fix “cannot connect to youtube“ bug. MxTube is free apps on Cydia as well.
YourTube
YourTube, a simple tweak by CocoaNuts. Once you have installed YourTube tweak from Cydia, you will find new download menu inside official YouTube app on device. Once you see a youtube video, you will see download option. There are three YourTube versions: YourTube (original version that works on iOS 3.x), YourTube 2 (the next version that supports iOS 4.x, up to 4.2.1), and YourTube HD (HD version for iPad).
Unfortunately, yourtube tweak is not free, it costs $5 and doesn’t work on iOS 4.2.1 and beyond.

Its being quite a long time ago I was read in such an impressive post but now I'm again reading. 3 Cydia Apps is really very impressive for downloading YouTube video on iPhone.
